1. I like your program, but is it run in English?
Yes, all sessions are run in English.
2. How much does it cost?
Our prices are reasonable. Go to our reservations page for more information.
3. I really want to come to your program, but I am worried about traveling alone. What do you suggest?
The Arc House is a small women only spa catering to women traveling alone. We can even organize pick up at the Toulouse Airport by our English speaking staff.
4. Is there a doctor on site?
We have excellent links with our local doctor and pharmacist who will attend to any emergency or medical problem.
5. Who attends the Arc House?
Any woman 18 to 80 years..
6. How many people attend the program each week?
At the Arc House we believe in working in small groups to maximize our effectiveness. We therefore limit our numbers to 12 or fewer guests.
7. I am diabetic, can you cater for my special needs?
Providing you bring your medication and blood monitoring kit (if necessary), we will ensure you receive an appropriate diet and exercise plan.
8. Will I have to share a bathroom with anyone else?
All our rooms are spacious and en suite. You will only need to share a bathroom if you are sharing a bedroom.
9. Do you have internet access?
Yes, we have wireless internet access for a small fee. A communal computer is also available for guest use.
10. I don't exercise much, and I am worried that I may not be able to keep up with the level of exercise expected?
Our exercise therapist will assess your level of fitness and prescribe what is suitable for you. You may surprise yourself with your abilities by the end of your stay.
11. How much should I expect to tip staff?
We have eliminated the need to tip staff. We want you to to get a great service from all staff, without the need to tip.
12. I am recovering from an eating disorder, can you help me to gain weight?
While The Arc House is not an Eating Disorders Clinic, our dietitian and counselor has many years of experience working in the field of eating disorders. She will be able to help you plan a suitable diet for weight gain.
13. I need to improve my fitness level, but I hate exercising. What can I do?
Our exercise therapists can plan a program to ensure a balance between cardio and toning exercises. The Arc House therapists are skilled in detecting your motivation style. We will soon have you on your way to the fitness level you seek.
14. Is there a dress code?
We promote a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Casual clothes are worn by the majority of our guests, but you may wish to bring smart casual clothing for our day trips.
